October 2017, a trip to Nainital after a long time and the first for my lovely daughter Shreya. We all enjoyed this 3 day trip to the Lake City Nainital. Last time we visited Nainital in 2010, I guess. We stayed at The Maple Residences, Mall Road with the Lake view. Weather was pleasant during day and cold at night. The first day began with the drive from Noida/Ghaziabad to Nainital via Garh/Rudrapur. A halt at Gajraula allowed us to consume the yummy breakfast at Tadka Dhaba. We reached Nainital at 2PM and checked in the hotel. The best time was in the evening when we entered the Lake, it was hilarious. Then a walk on Mall Road and a fine dinner. The next day was booked for the Zoo where we prayed at Ghanti wala "Gangnathji temple" in the morning. The evening was the shopping time at Mallital and Naina devi temple. Nainital is an uncomparable destination for the tourists. It is considered the best hill station from Uttaranchal (now Uttarakhand). If you want to visit Nainital, the best way is via train. Kathgodam is the nearest railway station to Nainital. It is well attached to the national capital, Delhi.
